My brother Bernie dropped by to help complete the ELT installation. First we fabricated the ELT antenna mount doubler plate. With the plate and fuselage skin drilled, deburred and dimpled we cleaned, abraded and alodined the doubler plate. While the alodine was drying we worked a while on the wing and fuselage support fixture for painting. Once the antenna doubler plate was dry we riveted it on, mounted the antenna, fabricated the antenna coaxial cable and secured the coaxial cable. To finish off for the day we installed the park brake and cabin heat control cables.
